Story

Born from a love of cameras that refuse to die.

I’m Back® started in 2017 with photographer and designer Samuel Mello Medeiros and engineer Filippo Nishino. The mission: keep iconic cameras alive by giving them a digital heart while preserving their original mechanisms, viewfinders and personality.

Inspired by the timeless look of Kodak, the playful spirit of Lomography and the elegant design of brands like Yashica, I’m Back bridges eras instead of replacing them.

MiMi – the smallest analog‑inspired digital camera we’ve ever made.

MiMi is a tiny micro mirrorless camera, around 8 cm wide, designed to live in your pocket and on your desk. It embraces the spirit of toy cameras and vintage compacts, but with interchangeable lenses and digital capture.

Perfect for experiments, street snaps and creative projects – a reminder that photography can be serious and playful at the same time.
